Welcome to Summer Camp at St. Anthony Elementary School
St. Anthony Elementary School offers a fun-filled program for summer campers from kindergarten through 8th grade at our campus in El Segundo. Campers enjoy academic classes that reinforce basic skills and encourage self-expression in a nurturing environment. They also participate in a variety of afternoon activities and off-campus excursions, including hikes to local parks, picnics, and swimming at two local pools.
St. Anthony’s summer program is designed as an extension of the rich curriculum offered during the academic year. The emphasis of our summer program is learning through hands-on activities. Summer campers are engaged inside and outside the classroom with thought-provoking classes and fun outdoor activities.
Morning Academic Activities
Academic classes meet Monday through Friday, with two to three academic periods each morning. Classes emphasize reading, writing, and mathematics and reinforce academic skills to prepare campers for the upcoming school year. Courses are designed to make learning fun, and you can find a more detailed description of each class.
Each afternoon campers participate in a wide range of activities, including swimming, drawing, yoga, arts & crafts, French, Spanish, cooking, and more. Campers are introduced to new activities each week.
Summer school teachers provide classroom instruction and supervise recreational activities. They are assisted by an energetic group of camp counselors, who are selected based on their experience and enthusiasm. The entire staff is dedicated to providing a nurturing, warm, and supportive environment.

7:30 AM – 8:30 AM -Morning Day Care
8:30 AM – 11:30 AM – Morning Classes
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM – Lunch
12:00 PM – 3:00 PM – Afternoon Summer Camp
3:00 PM – 5:30 PM Pick-up or Afternoon Day Care
DAYCARE is available one week before (during the week of June 18th) and one week after the Summer Camp session (during the week of August 6th). The fee is $165.00/week for Daycare.
Summer Camp Registration and Tuition Information 2018
Registration and Tuition Policies: The fee is $195/week. Parents provide healthy snacks, drinks, and lunch.
To register, please submit a completed application form and a non-refundable deposit fee of $100. The balance for the summer camp is due by May 25, 2018.
The deposit will be applied to your child’s last week of camp. Application and deposits received after April 21 will be accepted only if space is available for your child. The balance of the full camp tuition must be paid on or before May 25, 2018*. Please make all checks payable to St. Anthony School.
*Children will not be admitted without advance payment.
